How to Make Effective New Year’s Resolutions

New Year 2014 is here making everyone busy in evaluating and making their new goals and objectives. We all have our achievements and failures and the New Year gives us new reasons and aspiration to buck up with better vision and energy to look forward.

Here’s points which will help you to stick to your New Year resolutions..

Goal or target focused
“A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush” which means it’s better to have a lesser but certain advantage than the possibility of a greater one that may come to nothing. One of the major reasons behind the failure of your resolutions is that you make too many of them. This leads to no concentration and leaves you with frustration. Focus yourself to specific goals and visions as too many will distort you from action.

Note it down
Noting or writing down your goals is the common technique that reminds and makes you committed. If you have any difficulty while making conversation with your clients then the simplest way is to write it down and familiarising yourself with the topic which makes you confident.

Share your ideas
When you make your resolution, you can share it with your partner or friends and when you find the goals similar to each other than you can work together for brain storming sessions.

Make your goals tangible
Set your goal to be actionable and practicable in every aspect of its practise. You should operate it in tangible way with positive attitude. Instead of saying “I will be slimmer this new year” go for saying “I will regularly exercise an hour every morning.” This sounds more feasible and visual targeted. You should be able to create image on your mind and act accordingly.

These are very common but yet effective steps to make your New Year resolution promising as well as actionable.

Set your goals high, train hard, and believe in yourself. What will YOU achieve in 2014?
