Digital Content Writer

At VIS, we’re looking for a Digital Content Writer to represent the voice of our clients. You should be flexible and comfortable writing in a range of formats. You’re a go-getter who is highly driven and not afraid to suggest new ideas that are impactful on social platforms and suit our client’s requirements.

Major Responsibilities

Writing engaging and convincing copy (blogs, website content, e-newsletters, social media posts, GMB, Google Ads, meta data and other collateral)
Determining tone of voice and unique selling points for each client
Collaborating with other creative departments, such as marketing and design, to fulfill brief
Researching to ensure accurate copy
Planning and managing client meetings to show the plan and outcome
Attending and conducting team meetings, as required
Responding to constructive feedback, editing and revising content
Contributing ideas and strategies
Managing multiple projects simultaneously

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Media, Communications or similar
Strong attention to detail – grammar, spelling, punctuation, and expression must be perfect
Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects at once
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong knowledge and understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Google Drive (Docs, Sheets and Slides)
Basic understanding of SEO or willing to learn
Content writing experience for the medical industry is a bonus
